The Subtraction Lab, Issue 1
““If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” ”
It only takes one minor shift to start feeling better. The problem is, most people wait years before they take action.
I know. Wild.
After about 9 months since my last newsletter, I'm back with something completely new: The Subtraction Lab.
The fact that it’s taken me this long is almost ironic, considering I coach people every day on the power of starting small.
I just couldn’t decide what I wanted to send. It had to be something I would actually read. And I’m a stickler for brevity and usefulness.
So after wrestling with this for far too long, I’ve decided on what I want to share.
In a word: subtraction.
Every week I’ll publish a new episode of The Subtraction Lab - a quick read with one practical idea to help you outsmart burnout and do less so you can feel better.
Think of it as a reminder that we don’t need to glorify busyness in a world that already does too much of that.
Here’s what you can expect each week:
A quote that’s relevant and worth remembering
A reveal of one unsuspecting thing that’s burning you out
How to subtract it from your life (and what to do instead)
All digestible in under ~3 minutes.
I’ll also be asking for your feedback- because this isn’t just about me writing diary entries. It’s about making sure you find this valuable, practical, and worth your time.
That’s it.
Talk soon.
