Burnout Isn’t Your Fault. But It Is a Signal.

Holistic coaching, group support, and workplace well-being strategies grounded in Functional Medicine and Total Worker Health®.

Let's talk

Perfect on paper, but completely overwhelmed…

Sound familiar?

You’ve always been an ambitious high performer and have worked hard to achieve your goals. From excelling in school to advancing in your career, you are driven, resourceful, and fiercely independent.

You’re also the one everyone counts on- at work, at home, in your community. It’s not that you don’t enjoy being everyone’s go-to; it’s just that there isn’t enough of you to go around.

From the outside, it looks like you’ve got it all together: A respectable job, a wonderful family, and plenty to be grateful for.

But inside, you’re struggling. Chronic stress is catching up to you. Boundaries feel hard, and personal wellness feels impossible. You’ve lost touch with your needs… and maybe even with yourself.

Of course you want to feel healthy again, in every sense of the word. But between the mental load, the emotional labor, and the nonstop pressure to keep pushing forward, it’s hard to know where to start.

You’re not broken- you’re just burned out, and that can change.

I help high-achievers rebuild their foundation, restore balance, and create space to actually feel good again.

Welcome!

I’m Amy Schamberg, EdS, NBC-HWC

I do what I do because I’ve been where you are.

After spending 15 years working at the intersection of public education and mental health, I’ve seen the same patterns on repeat: High-achieving, mission-driven professionals pushing through chronic stress, running on empty, and unsure how to make things more sustainable - for themselves, their careers, and their families.

I’ve lived it too. Multiple cycles of burnout led me to reexamine everything - not just how I worked, but the systems I worked within. I learned that work-related stress and burnout is not a personal failure, and importantly, that you can’t self-care your way out of toxic systems.

That’s why today I bring a dual lens to my work- helping individuals rebuild their foundation through personalized health and wellness coaching, while guiding organizations to implement strategies that strengthen employee health, safety, and well-being.

My mission is to address the root causes of burnout and lay the foundation for human flourishing. Through workshops, coaching, and strategic consulting, I bridge the gap between organizational systems and personal wellness.

The truth is this: When chronic stress is no longer the default, you can show up as the healthiest version of yourself. It’s time to stop treating stress and burnout as personal shortcomings and start rethinking what “wellness” really means- for holistic health, for meaningful work, and for a future where flourishing is the norm.

Supporting individuals must include addressing the systems they work within.

  • Psychosocial hazard assessments, employee well-being audits, and strengths analyses identify what’s working—and what’s contributing to burnout.

  • The Total Worker Health® framework guides the development of policies, practices, and systems that enhance mental health, engagement, and organizational resilience.

  • Leadership consultation, implementation planning, and strategic support help reduce burnout, improve retention, and build cultures where staff feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.

Q: What is a Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and why does it matter?

This is such an important question, i’m so glad you asked!

A nationally board certified health and wellness coach is a professional who has obtained certification from a recognized national board, indicating they have met specific standards of education, training, competence and professionalism in the field of health coaching.

You can learn more by visiting the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching’s website.

Q: What is Total Worker Health, and why should organizations care about it?

great Question - one more business leaders are asking every day.

Total Worker Health® (TWH) is an evidence-based framework developed by the CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). It integrates occupational safety and health protection with policies, programs, and practices that enhance worker engagement, reduce health risks, and improve organizational performance.

Unlike one-off wellness initiatives, TWH focuses on the conditions of work — identifying systemic factors that drive burnout, turnover, and productivity loss. By proactively addressing these factors, organizations can reduce risk, improve retention, and align health and safety strategies with business outcomes.

You can learn more at NIOSH’s Total Worker Health® page.
